In order to be able to meet your wishes, our reception is staffed from 6.30 am to 9.00 pm. 

Please contact us if there is anything on your mind - whether you need a taxi or more towels, we can make a table reservation in the restaurant of your choice or organise theatre tickets. Our reception team will be happy to help. 

If you notice anything during your stay that we can improve, please speak to us directly. We are always grateful for suggestions and are constantly trying to improve our service. We also want you to have a pleasant time with us and feel at home.

If you are familiar with the check-in terminals at the airport, you should be happy about our digital check-in and check-out. If you would like to avoid possible waiting times at the reception and check-in as well as check-out independently, feel free to use the Hotelbird app or the online check-in as well as check-out via the internet browser. 

1. Download the Hotelbird app and check in with us. In the app you will receive a Bluetooth key that works with all necessary locks. Payment can also be made via this and allows you to check out digitally. 

2. Check in online via the website link that you will receive by email from us one day before arrival. Once you have checked in via the website, you will receive a QR code by e-mail. At our self-check-in terminal (in the lock of the hotel entrance) you can scan this or use your booking number to call up your booking and code your key cards yourself. On the day of departure, you will also be given the opportunity to make your payment and check out here. Please hand over your key card.

Our livingroom - snack & lounge is your living room for the duration of your stay, accessible around the clock. In addition to the breakfast area, you will find a cosy lounge area with a fireplace, a reading and games corner, an internet corner with printing facilities and an outdoor terrace with chairs. 

During our breakfast hours from 7.00 am to 11.00 am, coffee specialities and tea are available. In addition, we have snacks and drinks available for you in the vending machine. 

If you would like to network with other guests, work in company, borrow a book or watch a football match with your companions, feel free to come to our livingroom. 

The approximately 35 sqm gym at appartello is open 24 hours a day to let you switch off and free your mind or just to keep fit. Professional cardio equipment offer the best conditions for a varied training session. Listen to music or watch current TV highlights on the flat screen, all at the same time. You will notice that the time just flies by. Fresh towels are available in the fitness area.

In regard to short city trips as well as extended stays there will be a smaller, respectively, bigger bundle of clothes to wash. To minimize your luggage, we offer free use of our washing machines and tumbler in the basement. Detergent is available at the reception at a surcharge. 

You will find laundry baskets as well as clothes drying racks in the laundry room. In addition, you can borrow an ironing board and iron if necessary so that you can wear your clothes straight away and feel comfortable again. From the Executive Studio category upwards, an ironing station is available in the wardrobe. 

You have a business meeting or you are invited to a dinner and you need to wash your dress or suit first or afterwards? At Terminal 1 of Hamburg's airport there is a machine for own use, offered by the cleaning company zwo24 Textilpflege. It is 24/7 available.

For the sake of environment, we have switched to digital magazines and newspaper. This gives you access to over 1,500 daily newspaper and magazines from 59 countries in 39 languages. All publications can be easily opened and read on any mobile device such as smartphones, tablets or laptops.

We provide you with free WiFi in the entire hotel area. Upon arrival, you will receive our WiFi access, with which you can surf without any problems. You have access in all areas and can either move your workstation to our livingroom, use the time wisely before check-in or check-out in the hotel lobby to send important e-mails or to download our digital magazines and newspaper and read them at your leisure.

If you need a LAN cable, please contact our reception team.

To make your little ones feel at home, we provide a baby bed and a high chair on request. There is also a step stool for the bathroom and a toilet seat. 

As a surprise, we give you our fabric mascot Fred on arrival, who is particularly fond of children and likes to join them in the baby bed. In addition, you will receive crayons from us so that your little ones can put their creative arts on paper and colour in the frog template on the desk pad of your apartment. When you hand the artwork over to our reception team, they will be rewarded with a small gift. 

In our livingroom, our play corner offers countless opportunities to amuse children. We keep a variety of games, books and children's toys available there. Our XXL teddy bear is a popular cuddle partner and is much sought-after by the little ones. 

Our housekeeping team ensures that the high quality standards are maintained every day, not only in our public areas but also in the studios as well as apartments, and takes care of regular room cleaning and a change of linen. For short-term stays of less than 7 nights, this service is provided after the third night. If you are staying with us for a longer period, this takes place weekly. 

If you generally or exceptionally do not wish to have your room cleaned, please make use of our door hanger or inform our reception team so that we do not disturb your privacy. 

As more waste quickly accumulates during longer stays, we kindly ask you to dispose of it yourself in our rubbish depot (wooden house in the backyard) and to observe waste separation. Our housekeeping team is looking forward to your support.
