There is a lot to discover in Hamburg's city centre: Museums, theatres and the Elbphilharmonie concert hall, the Speicherstadt warehouse district, which has been declared a Word Heritage Site, the modern Hafencity and, of course, our landmark - the Hamburg Michel. The Schmidt Theatres on the Reeperbahn promise the best entertainment for young and old - according to the motto "weird, shrill and charming". Visit one of the many performances: be it musical, comedy, show or gala. The long-running hits "Heiße Ecke" and "Cavemen" are particulary popular not only with tourists but also with Hamburg's residents. For the little theatre fans, we recommend the seasonally changing perfomances at the Schmidt Children's Theatre.
