Everything was great. The staff were really nice and helpful. I liked the design and everything. There was a welcoming gift which was really positive. But I have three comments: 1. If there was a sofa instead of the two chairs in the Executive Studio that would be better. Because sometimes you have a guest so he can spend a night on the sofa. 2. There was some insects in the room. And I am not Sure where was the source of them (but I believe they come inside the room sneaking from under the door.), we noticed them more than once. 3. Room cleaning should be twice a week in terms of the long stays. But in general I liked it and of course would come again.

Everything was good except for two things: 1. The curtains don’t block the daylight very well 2. The sofa bed is much too hard. I like a very firm mattress, and it was too firm even for me!

The hotel was located almost near the city so I may go by walking, and also they have variety of rooms and it can occupy up to 4 people and it's good for families I really recommend the executive appartment because it have 2 bathroom not like the other room they have only one, additionally I think they have almost all tools for kitchen for the cooking, moreover the rooms and the bathroom are so clean, finally the parking fees for whole day is 2 euro ! I'm looking forward to visit them in my next vacation .

Had to move room because other guests were smoking outside my room which was over the reception and entrance. Apart from that inconvenience it was a very comfortable stay despite the very hot weather. The hotel is very convenient for work. I will stay again.

I travel to Hamburg multiple times a year for work and every time I have stayed at the apartello. I love the atmosphere at the hotel. During long stays they do everything to make you feel like you are at home including advent calendars during the season! I have gotten to know the staff and they all welcome me back every time I return. The amenities are great and there is an HVV stop 2 minutes away!

The rooms were fabulous! Very large, modern and comfortable, except Europe had a heat wave and the room had no AC. Since the room was directly across the street from a fire station (which responded to calls during our brief stay) keeping the window open all night was not an option. This created for a difficult night trying to sleep due to the heat.

I have stayed in this hotel several times now. I have written a few reviews regarding Appartello. The first time it was a month or so after they opened and the service has been consistently good. It is great value and location but it is the people that make me welcoming enough to stay here time after time. The front desk staff is friendly and extremely helpful as are the folks working in the housekeeping department as well as breakfast. It is also a convenient location to stay at, minutes from the airport and City Nord. There is a grocery store around the corner from the hotel which makes is convenient buying essential grocery items. I typically stay in an Executive Studio which has a full kitchenette (stove, cook top, fridge, and microwave). This time, when I checked out, I was asked whether I had a car to which I replied yes. They now charge 2 Euros a day for surface parking which came as a surprise to me! In the past, surface parking was free as it should be since there is not enough stalls provided and there is street parking in the evenings (since the hotel is located within office complexes and offices close around 5:00pm). In fact, 2 of the 4 nights I stayed there, I couldn't park in the lot as it was full. Yet, I was charged for surface parking anyways. I do realize that 2 Euros is not a lot but it is the principle of it that gets me worked up. Plus they should disclose it when you check in, which they did not. By the way, the hotel also has an underground parking facility that is 8 Euros per day to park. During my stay, as a matter of fact the first night, the smoke alarm went off in the building and most residents evacuated their rooms but congregated just outside the building in front of the lobby. What surprised me is that there was no evacuation plan in place nor any verbal commands were given by the staff, fire fighters (who arrived within a minute or two of alarm sounding - there is a firehouse across the street from the hotel) or the police. Thank goodness, it was either a false alarm or nothing too serious as we were allowed back in a few minutes after the fire fighters were on scene. Overall, I like this hotel and would definitely stay here again. But I do suggest that the management rethink charging for surface parking!

Would have been nice to have sone more English language tv channels. Plus a pair of hotplates, saucepan and frypan even in the base appartment would be expected. Germany has not got many ready meals as the uk does so could only stay here 1 night.

I needed a comfortable room to relax the night before a heavy day of work. I was given a wonderful room (I call it apartment for its size) witj a kitchen complete of everything, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dish washer, etc. A comfortable sofa, with 32in led tv, a bedroom and in bedroom toilette. Everything amazing, couldn't ask more! I've enjoyed my time at the hotel. Thank you!

Very fine hotel apartment. Well working breakfast where you can choose what you want and only pay for that. Very clean and spacious rooms - new interior and nice bathroom. Only 2€ pr. Day for parking. Great FAQ on their website about different facilities in the area. A bit to far away from the city, but it was ok with the transport by bus and u-Bahn. I would definetly consider to stay here some other time and will recommend this for other guest in the city.

I stayed 4 nights as I came for business in Hamburg. The apartment was clean, modern and all people in reception very helpful. I would definitely go back again. The only observation I can make is that you can probably add a curtain (cotton/glass) in the shower as water goes everywhere when showering. It's not important, but it would be nice

The service at the front disk was very poor and the worker replied irritating when we asked questions. When we asked for at taxi to the airport we were informed that for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 small children) two taxis were needed else we could not be taken to the airport. We took contact to the taxi company and there were no problems to send one taxi (standard taxi) to bring me and family to the airport. Furthermore when we asked for restaurants in the area we where told that only restaurant was near by. ( a very expensive restaurant) but when we searched the area there were allot of restaurants closer to the hotel. This attitude is not were service minded and people feel that they being cheated. The positive side was that the hotel and the rooms were clean and nice, and the hotel personnel tog our luggage to our room.

The curtains allowed too much light to enter the appartment, making it difficult to sleep well. There were not any channel in Spanish on TV. Our appartment was right in front of the main street and it was noisy (traffic started early and was unpleasant) On the other hand, the staff was awesome and did their best for us to be like at home. The place has both exterior and interior parking lots. There is a Lidl at about 200 m. It is very close to the airport.

Place is very new, clean, and well set-up. Nice kitchen and living areas. Bathrooms are big with a nice shower. TV's in both the living room and bedroom. Only 2 drawbacks - not many restaurants in the area within walking distance and I wish there were more English speaking non-news TV channels (note the TV's have some on demand capability and you can also connect an external HDMI cable and stream from your device).

Appartello was an amazing "Apart-Hotel" with great staff. It was more than what I expected in comparison with many other similar properties around Europe. The price was also right.

The rooms were fantastic, clean modern and comfortable and very spacious. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast arrangement is unusual but works very well - you only pay for what you eat. The location is perfect for working in the north of the city and ok for access to town using bus and S-Bahn. The price is amazing for the quality of the rooms and facilities.

The front desk folks were very friendly and accommodating. We had a executive studio which has a small kitchen with a real stove and cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. The cleaning crew would put the dishes in the dish washer every day which was refreshing (I travel a lot and this is the first time that I experienced this level of service in an European hotel). The room was facing the main road on the ground floor. Even though I left the windows open, the road noise was minimal. There is a fire station across the street and it was quite busy during the day but at night, you would hardly hear any activities (I guess they are good neighbors!). There is a grocery store half a block from this hotel. The hotel is situated between office buildings and at night, if there is no parking on premises, there is ample street parking on the backside of the hotel. I never had an issue finding parking. Although, I did not have breakfast there, I did however see the selection and it was impressive. There is a living room on the lower level that can be used by hotel guests. The fitness center is relatively small and it is equipped with (2) treadmills, elliptical machine and a stationary bike along with some weights. On the departure day, my girlfriend forgot to empty the room safe deposit box and realized it after we were at the gate ready to board the plane! She called the hotel and talked to Nadine. Nadine was more than accommodating; she went in the room and picked up not only the jewelry that we had left behind in the safe, but also a Tag watch and some pieces of clothing that we neglected to pack! Not only the staff is friendly, accommodating but also very honest! Kudos to Nadine and the rest of the team at Appartello!

Nice clean big rooms and clean bathroom. All you need for a shorter stay. Breakfast set up is you pay for what you eat and selection is OK. No restaurant but you get a discount voucher to another hotel nearby.

Long stay on business, at Lufthansa Technik. Room 236 (Premium Apartment) As I visit Hamburg frequently on business (Lufthansa is only 10 minutes by walk) I have been searching for an apparthotel like this one for a long time. The hotel has a very modern setting with an apartment feel to it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving me tips around Hamburg and trying to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Amenities that are excellent: Kitchen with all utensils and appliances provided. Free coffee or tea during the day. Washcenter (with free washing powder). Vending Machine (all day), and sandwiches (before 6PM). Large screen LCD TVs in bedroom and living room. Did not use the fitness center, which is small but had all the basic equipment. The Alster and a large garden are just is a couple minutes from the hotel and perfect for a run, or a picnic.Bus station just outside the hotel (Bus 39 and 292) connects you to the city center, central station (Hauptbahnhof) or to the airport. Supermarket Lidi is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel even had a party for the residents, some VIPs and other staff on one of the days as it was the official launch/inauguration of the hotel. Dinner and a fully stocked bar was on the house. The hotel does not have a restaurant so the breakfast service has limited items and no lunch or dinner service. This was not a big deal for me as I prefer to cook my own meals or go outside the hotel for a quick bite (Also a few restaurants in the vicinity). Great quality standard for a newly opened hotel, and I am sure they will get better with time. Only thing I wish I could have is a bike rental service as there is no StadRAD station nearby.
