Our appartello brand stands for the establishment of a commercial accommodation business that combines the trend towards long-stay accommodation with a modern hotel concept in the mid-scale segment. Under the conditions of a largely saturated hotel market (e.g. budget, garni, first-class) with established brands and a tight housing situation in the cities, we utilise the synergies of both business areas and combine them with appartello - smarttime living.
A well-networked IT infrastructure is the basis for a modern and contemporary guest experience and effective processes in day-to-day business. We have successfully implemented the following examples:
Our aim is to use technology in such a way that resources are optimised, the team is relieved and our guests can expect a personalised, contemporary service. Nevertheless, it is important to us that a personal contact person is also available on site.

With appartello - smarttime living, we offer a mixed concept . In addition to long-term stays, we also offer short city breaks, business trips and family holidays. The following points are key features:

The services offered to our guests correspond to a "limited service". It has a modular structure and can be called up individually by the guest. The focus is on living comfort and the creation of apartment-typical offers.

From the very beginning, we have focussed on the organic growth of our company based on our own strengths. Our long-term goals are to open up new destinations in German-speaking countries. The effective pooling of resources and the utilisation of synergies resulting from the growing group of companies play a central role in this.
With the trends in the accommodation and housing industry in mind, the two partners, Heiko Fuhlendorf-Franzen and Frank Pentzin, came up with the joint idea of appartello - smarttime living in 2014.

After several successful years in business, another appartello - smarttime livingwill open in Regensburg in 2026. The 7-storey boarding house is also designed for "temporary living".
